I was purchasing a replacement knob for a Le Creuset dutch oven this morning and I knew I needed the large size. Naturally, when I see 3 buttons and the first one says “Small”, I clicked the last button assuming it was the Large size. Wrong!
Solution
Use the normal ordering that every other website, business, retailer, and person uses! Small, medium, large.
It’s hard enough that dutch ovens from Le Creuset don’t come in 3 sizes, so the labels aren’t all that helpful in the first place. Remember, “Users prefer your site to work the same way as all the other sites they already know.”
